Chris joined Citizens Advice Maidenhead and Windsor in 2012 and was previously Manager of Henley Citizens Advice. Prior to this Chris worked as a business information manager at organisations including Which?, Scottish Enterprise and Guinness Mahon.
Aftab is a former corporate lawyer with 20 years experience at top firm Allen & Overy. Aftab also run a business in the early years sector for 15 years. Aftab retired in 2016 and is a trustee of the University of Westminster Students Union, a practicing professional dog behaviourist and delivers training on childcare.
Mike is a communication professional, who worked in top advertising agencies in London before setting up his own consultancy. He retired from commercial life in December 2011 and his book ‘Principled Persuasion in Employee Communication’ was published by Gower in December 2015. Mike has served as trustee/governor on various charities and in schools since the late 1970s.
Cheryl was a local authority Chief Executive for over 20 years before retiring from full time work in May 2016. She was awarded the OBE for Services to Local Government in 2015. She is a Trustee of the Centre for Ageing Better, an independent charitable foundation working to help everyone enjoy a good later life and also holds non-executive positions in the NHS. Cheryl also works for the Local Government Association as an independent adviser on health and social care partnerships.
Tony is a former Head teacher. He is very active in the community and currently volunteers with the Youth Offending team.
Avijit is a European IP lawyer working with top generic companies in various capacities for more than 15 years. Avijit role is to monitor progress against our business plan and to take a lead role in the annual leadership self-assessment process.
Chris is an experienced chartered accountant and a partner at Hale & Co and the Primary Audit Director in Craufurd Hale Audit Services Limited, the audit arm of Hale & Co. In addition to varied client work for individuals and businesses, Chris is the group’s anti-money laundering officer and advises on compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations.
Alison is responsible for ensuring that the company and charity registration documents are filed properly and advising the board on information assurance and governance issues. She is a retired Senior Civil Servant and is active in the community as a library volunteer and a committee member of the Windsor Neighbourhood plan forum.
Philip is a Trustee and local councillor representing the Belmont ward. Philip is very active in the community and is a trustee of Spoore Merry Rixman Foundation, Poole & Rings and the Charles Davis Trust.
Kevyn is a semi-retired IT Programme Director who for the last decade or so has specialised in large IT led Central Government business transformations for Home Office, MOJ, MOD etc. Prior to that he was Delivery lead for a couple of the larger IT suppliers.
Jenny has over 25 years’ experience in HR. She currently works for Costain, and prior to that she spent most of her career at General Electric. Jenny’s current role is leading the HR Business Partners, Recruitment and Reward for Costain.
Derek is a Trustee and a local councillor representing the Oldfield Ward. He is an experienced manager who has worked in the consumer electronics and health care sectors. Derek is very active in the community and is a Governor of Desborough College.
